Cassidy Riedel
Assistant Coach

Coach Cassidy grew up in the Huntley area and started swimming competitively at 8 years old. She fell in love with the sport and went on to swim for the next 10 years, ultimately ending her career at 18. She swam for Huntley High School and graduated in 2020, then moved on to a different aspect of swimming when she began teaching swim lessons. Realizing she missed the competition and team aspect of the sport, Cassidy is back on deck and more than excited to learn more about the world of swimming from yet another lens. She is delighted to bring her knowledge and experience to the team and can’t wait to get to know you and/or your swimmers!

When she’s not on the pool deck or in the water, Cassidy is a big cat lover and has a 11 year-old calico, named Izzy, that she spends most of her time with. She loves to curl up with her cat and watch a good movie or anime. You can always find her playing video games, listening to music, or reading.
