BSC Wraps up Summer Season At Zones

BSC Swimmers continued their amazing journey of progress this summer last weekend by traveling to the Central Zone Age Group Championships in Indianapolis.  The meet saw 2 Individual Event Wins, 2 New Team Records, and numerous Top 16 Finishes.

Ally Penrod finished her 10 & Under swan song with wins for Team Illinois in the 50 and 100Breast. She was on the winning 200Free and 200Medley relays,and 8th in the 50Free.

Isabella Parenti also swam to a Top 16 Finish in the 10 & Under division with a 7th in the 200Free

Colin O'Leary had a successful meet by swimming to 5th in the 50Back, 4th in the 200Fly, 11th in the 50Fly, 3rd in the 100Back, 3rd on the 4x100 Free Relay, 5th in the 200Back, and 5th in the 100Fly.

Max Gersten placed 14th in the 100Breast, 15th in the 200Brest, and 16th in the 50Breast

Will Hobbs placed 15th in the 50Breast

Emma Barnett posted an 8th place in the 800Free, and 10th in the 400Free--both were best times.

Kelsey Holmes swam to a 15th place in the 100Back

Kirsten Jacobsen placed 2nd on the 4x100 Free Relay, 8th in the 200Free, 5th in the 50Free, and 3rd in the 100Free--The 50 and 100were both New Team Records and the 100 was a New NCSA Junior Meet Qualifying time.

Chase Lesniak placed 13th in the 200Breast, and 12th in the 1500Free, Chase was also 3rd in the Open Water Swim
