BE ENTHUSIASTIC

As most of you know I continually read the great authors in world literature. This week I was reading Emerson and found a quote that I though could motivate all of us in the coming weeks, “Nothing Great was Ever Accomplished Without Enthusiasm.” As a swimming coach I think that this constantly reminds me to be innovative and fresh, to keep looking to new ways to get BSC Teammates to pratice more, practice better, and practice faster.

As BSC Teammates look forward to swimming at meets again, I really want everyone to be focused and enthusiastic about being at practice, how we practice, and the intensity level we all bring to practice. Working Hard To Be The Best We Can Be Is FUN!! If we are enthusiastic about it, no matter how difficult practice may be, this process can even be more rewarding. If we as a team are enthusiastic about 5:30a.m. Practice it will be amazing how far this team can go! If we as a team are enthusiastic about the opportunity to go a best time in practice, think of how fast you can go in a meet. If we as a team can be enthusiastic about doing things more, better, faster than anyone else...THINK ABOUT HOW GREAT OUR TEAM CAN TRULY BE.

Lets come to practice this week with more enthusiasm about what we are doing and see how much fun we can have making BSC AN AWESOME TEAM!!
