BSC Posts New Cuts and New Team Record at Senior Champs!!

Five BSC teammates traveled to UIC for Senior Champs this past weekend. The team did a great job tuning up for Sectionals. Kelsey Holmes, Kirsten Jacobsen and Kael Ragnini all chipped in with 100% Best Times. Kael swam to a qualifying time in the 1650Free and Kirsten swam a new team record in the 500Free also achieving a new NCSA Junior National Qualifying Time.

BSC did a great job of having great starts and accelerating to a smooth and fast breakout stroke. Teammates also worked into and out of the turns very well. It is really exciting to see attention to detail and aggressiveness be rewarded with success!  We all should be even more confident and encouraged to swim even faster this week at Sectionals and Age Group Champs.
