Great Weekend Wrap up for BSC!
Great Job This Weekend!!
Over 60 BSC Teammates swam at Senior Championships and at St. Charles this weekend. BSC Really did a great job of starting off Championship Season right with Best Times, Age Group Championship Times, Sectional Times, and Zone Times.
At Senior Championships:
Mekenna Scheitlin had her Best 200IM just missing the Team Record. Kirsten Jacobsen turned in a Best Time and Team Record in the 400Free. Emma Barnett turned in a Best Time 200IM boy over 2 seconds. Kelsey Holmes swam a very strong season best 100Back.Maggie Emary had 100% Best Times with a 5thPlace in the 800Free and 7thPlace in the 1500Free both swims were Team Records and ranked in the Top 10 Nationally. Becca Elrod swam a Best Time 800Free good for 10thPlace as well as a Best Time 400Free. Kael Ragnini had a Best Time 800 on Thursday then bettered that time on the first 800 of her 1500!! Sebastian Piekarski turned in a Best Time 50Free in a Sr. Zone Qualifying Time. Chase Lesniak had a solid meet with a 4 second Best Time in the 200Back. Chris Vega turned in a Best Time 200Fly by over 5 seconds! Colin Cross swam a Best Time 100Breast and 200Breast. Colin O'Leary swam a Best Time 100Back! Just a great meet leading up to the rest of the Championship Season!
At St. Charles:
I will say I was checking Live Results FRANTICALLY!! BSC Teammates did an amazing job of improving! The Following Teammates made New Championship Qualifying Times: Jack Hoppe, Sarah Langlois, Mitch Gavars, Izzie Parenti, Brandon Schaff, Will Hobbs, Julie Vega, Emma Graves, Tea Ragnini. Jack Hoppe turned in a Team Record 50Free and Izzie Parenti swam a Zone time in the 200Breast! If I left anyone out I apologize. What an Awesome Meet You all showed the hard work you have done this summer along with your ability to step up against great competition and RACE at the CHAMPIONSHIP Level. I am Really Proud of All Of You! Special thanks to the Coaches for doing such a great job managing the meet and helping everyone perform at their best.
