Day 2 At age Group Champs Yields BSC GOLD!

On the second day of Age Group Championships Barrington Swim Club Swimmers continued to swim weel with more finals appearances, team records and one State Championship! After the Second Day BSC remains in 6th place a mere 24 Points out of 5th Place!!

For the 10 and Under session the 200Medley Relay of Emma Pritchett, Julie Vega, Bridget O'Leary, and Becca Galovich swam to another 2nd Place! The Boys Relay followed up with a 4point 19th Place. In The 200Free Birdget O'Leary came home with another Silver Medal with a New Team Records and her 2:19.00 was under the ISI state record just behind the event Winner also under the Sate Record. In the 100Back Emma Pritchett scored a Best Time 18th Place. Bridget Oleary claimed the Age Group Championship in the 100Back in a New Team Record. Bridget finished the day with another 2nd Place and Team Record in the 50Fly.

For the 11-12, 13-14 year Olds the 800Free Relay of Kirsten Jacobsen, Katie Schneider, Andrea Vega, and Becca Elrod swam to a 7th Place in the 4x200Free Relay also in a New Team Record. In the 100Breast Max Gersten and Will Hobbs placed 16th and 19th respectively. Colin Cross placed 6th in the Championship Final. In the 200Free Emma Graves swam to a Best Time 16th Place with Maggie Emary racing to 5th and a New Team Record. In th 400Free Kirsten Jacobsen swam to a 3rd place Finish. Colin Cross grabbed 20th Place. For the 200Fly Maggie Emary added another Team Record and a 9th place. Izzie Parenti Hopped onto the Podium with a Best Time 10th Place
