BSC In 4th Place After Day 2 at Age Group Championships

After Two days at the ISI Age Group Championship hosted by Patriot Aquatic Club at Stevenson High School. BSC Teammates sit in a solid 4th place!

On Day 1 the 1500Swimmers saw three Top 8 Finishes and 3 New Team Records. Maggie Emary led off the meet with a 3rd place in the women's 1500. While the 13-14 Boys 1500 saw Colin O'Leary set New Team Records in the 400Free, 800Free, and 1500Free while swimming to a 2nd Place Finish. Mitch Gavars achieved a podium appearance with a 7th Place.

On Day 2 BSC Swam Even More New Team Records! In the 10 and Under Session Emma Pritchett swam to a 3rd Place Finish and Lily Reader set a New Team Record in the 8 and Under 100Fly.  Dan Langlois and Griffen O'Leary both swam to Best Times in the 100Fly. In the 200IM Emma Pritchett finished 9th with a New Best Time. In the 200IM for Boys Foster Swanson placed 11th and Daniel Langlois placed 13th. In the 100Breast Addy Reader stepped on the Podium for the First Time placing 8th. While Foster Swanson swam to 11th place.

For the 11 to 14 year Olds Max Gersten led off Finals with a 13th place in the 200Breast. Ally Penrod followed up with a New Team Record in the 100Breast Placing 7th. Maggie Emary Set a New Team Record in the 13-14 Girls 400IM placing 18th. In the 13-14 Boys 400IM Mitch Gavars placed 12th and Riley Lehmann placed 13th, Max Gersten dropped 5 seconds for a Great Best Time. In the 11-12 Girls 200Free BSC Placed 3 Swimmers in the Finals Bridget O'Leary placed 8th, Ally Penrod placed 10th, and Izzie Parenti 12th. In the 11-12 Boys 200Free Jack Hoppe placed 12th with a New Team Record. Maggie Emary placed 9th in the 13-14 Girls 200Free. Andrew Fish dropped 4 seconds to make the B Final in the 13-14 Boys 200Free Placing 16th. Will Hobbs swam to Championship points in 6th place. In the 100Butterfly Andrew Fish set a New Team Record in Prelims and placed 6th in Finals. Colin Oleary swam a Best Time and 5th Place in the Same Event.  In the Final Event of the Day the 800Free Relay Maggie Emary, Emma Graves, Emma Toth, and Sarah Langlois swam to 14th Place. On the Boys Side Colin O'Leary, Mitch Gavars, Riley Lehmann, and WIll Hobbs Swam and exciting race Placing 3rd and Breaking the Team Record by 15 Seconds!! In the same Race Colin O'Leary Set A New Team Record leading off the Relay in the 200Free.
