Day 3 of Age Group Champs Recap

Barrington Swim Club Teammates continued GREAT Success on Day 3 of the Illinois Age Group Championships at UIC.

10 and Under Jenny Tokarz won the 100Back less than 1 second off the State Record! She swam to a 2^nd Place in the 100Free in a New Team Record and 3^rd in the 50Free also in a New Team Record. Addisyn Donfris swam to a Best Time in the 100Back and Placed 15^th in the 50 Fly. Lily Reader added team points by placing 6^th in the 50Fly, Julia Koltuniuk swam a Best Time in the 100Free. The 200Medley Relay of Addisyn Donfris, Lily Reader, Jenny Tokarz, and Julia Koltuniuk swam to a 3^rd Place Finish and a New Team Record.

10 and Under Boy Dan Langlois continued his stellar meet by placing 3^rd in the 100Free. Griffin O'Leary added Points in the 100Free 12^th, 100Back 5^th Place and a New Team Record and 4^th in the 50Fly. The 200Medley Relay of Sully Swanson, Dan Langlois, Griffin O'Leary, and Eric Pan gained valuable Team Point with a 2:17.81 and a New Team Record.

For the 11-12 Girls Bridget O'Leary led the way with a New Team Record in the 500Free good for 2^nd Place. Bridget also Placed 16^th in the 100Back and 7^th in the 100Free.

The 11-12 Boys were paced by Jack Hoppe breaking a 23 Year Old Record in the 500Free good for 3rd Place. Jack came back with a great 100Free good for Top 16 points!

The 13-14 Girls were led by Val Tarazi and her State Championship, and Team Record 200IM! Val Also swam the 100Back Team Record 3^rd Place. Maggie Emary continued her good meet with a Best Time 100Back and 4^th Place 200Fly and a New Team Record! The 400Medley Relay of Val Tarazi, Ally Penrod, Emma Graves, and Maggie Emary swam to a New Team Record and 5^th Place.

Mitch Gavars swam a Best Time 200Fly good for Top 16 Points

With one day remaining BSC remains in 3^rd place in the Overall Team Race!!
